Corey Ball

Dr. Corey Ball is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Nephrology at UT Health Tyler and holds active staff positions at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Tyler and Paris Regional Medical Center. He serves as Section Chair of Nephrology at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital and Chief of Medicine at UT Health Tyler. His roles include leadership on key committees such as the Joint Dialysis Oversight Committee, Patient Care Committee, and UT Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Ball is also the Supervising Physician for The Centers for Kidney Care Advanced Practitioner Team.

• Education: M.D. from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, followed by Internal Medicine residency, Nephrology fellowship, and internship completion at the same institution.

His clinical and administrative expertise focuses on nephrology patient care, dialysis oversight, and hospital medicine leadership. Dr. Ball actively participates in regional medical societies, including the Smith County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association.
