Nabeel Ahmed

Nabeel Ahmed, MD is a Nephrologist and Teaching Faculty at UT Health Tyler, with affiliations at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Tyler and telehealth privileges across UT Health East Texas regional hospitals. He holds courtesy privileges at Paris Regional Health and serves on the CMFH Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Dr. Ahmed is certified as a Dialysis Access Interventionalist and participates in professional societies including the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.

Education: Earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College (Lahore, Pakistan), completed Internal Medicine residency at University of Nevada–Reno, and Nephrology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas).

Specializes in acute kidney injury management and dialysis access interventions. Maintains board certification in Nephrology since joining practice in 1999.
