معرفی
Dr. Cordula Schülke is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education at the University of Münster, where she has been working since 2023. She teaches various seminars including "Sachrechnen" (practical mathematics), "Spezielle Fragen der Mathematikdidaktik" (special questions of mathematics didactics), and "Inklusiver Mathematikunterricht in der Grundschule" (inclusive mathematics education in primary schools). Her academic journey includes doctoral studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen (2005-2008) and teaching qualifications from the University of Münster.
Dr. Schülke's research focuses on inclusive mathematics education for primary schools, with particular emphasis on task variation, mathematical reflection, and concept development. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical classroom applications, especially regarding how children develop mathematical understanding through interaction and concrete materials. She has developed expertise in diagnostic conversations with children and approaches to teaching mathematical concepts like money values.
Her publications from 2007-2021 reveal consistent focus on inclusive teaching methods, with particular attention to mixed-age classrooms and flexible entry stages in primary education. She has contributed significantly to understanding how mathematical concepts develop in young learners and how teachers can support this development through effective questioning and material use.
Before joining the University of Münster, Dr. Schülke gained extensive practical experience as a primary school teacher at various institutions including the Augustin-Wibbelt-School in Ahlen-Vorhelm (2008-2023), and she contributed to the "Math Inclusive with PIKAS" project at TU Dortmund (2015-2021). Her background combines substantial classroom experience with academic research, making her uniquely positioned to inform teacher education.
