Constantine Spyrakos is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Neapolis University Pafos, serving as Vice-Head of the Department of Engineering. He previously held roles as Professor and Director of the Laboratory of Earthquake Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and Professor at West Virginia University, USA. His expertise spans seismic behavior of structures, structural strengthening, and preservation of historical monuments.
He actively participates in regulatory committees such as ASCE, ACI, TCLEE, and TEE, contributing to national seismic codes in Greece. His professional service includes roles in the Central Archaeological Council (CAC), Central Council of Modern Monuments (CCMM), and Earthquake Planning Protection Organization. His consultancy work includes high-profile projects like the Vault of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and the Louvre-Abu Dhabi Museum.
