Dr. Conor Graham is a Lecturer in Ecology and Researcher at the Atlantic Technological University, affiliated with the Marine and Freshwater Research Centre (MFRC). He holds a BSc (Hons) in Marine Science (2001), MSc in Freshwater Fish Ecology (2004), and PhD in Salmonid Ecology (2010) from University of Galway and University College Cork. As Programme Chair for BSc Agriculture & Environmental Management, he teaches aquatic ecology and statistics.
Research interests: marine and freshwater fish ecology, trophic dynamics, sustainable fisheries, biodiversity conservation, and marine food traceability. His work leverages advanced methods like trace elemental fingerprinting, stable isotope analysis, and fatty acid profiling.
Recent projects include UAV-based marine monitoring, crayfish plague outbreak analysis, and DNA metabarcoding for aquatic biomonitoring. His publications span topics like stress physiology in salmon, microbial ecology in marine species, and drone-assisted water sampling technologies.
