Connor Smith is a Lecturer (Teaching and Leadership) at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Macquarie University. His research focuses on robust statistical methods, including ranking and selection in generalized linear models, robust regression, and stability analysis. He has contributed to developing predictive stability measures for feature importance in statistical modeling.
He received the Faculty of Science and Engineering Teaching Development Grant (2022) and was part of the 2023 Inter-School Collaboration Award-winning team. His work bridges theoretical statistics with practical applications in data analysis.
