Professor Collins Ntim is a Professor of Accounting at the University of Southampton's Southampton Business School, where he has held various leadership positions including Deputy Head of School (Research & Enterprise). He is currently the President of the British Accounting and Finance Association and has over 20 years of international teaching, research, and academic leadership experience.

Collins Ntim's research focuses on how Accounting, Accountability, Finance and Governance (AAFG) can drive Development and Sustainability worldwide, particularly in developing regions. He also explores secondary interests in corporate finance and development finance, with an emphasis on cross-country and regional analyses rather than single-country studies.
His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on sustainability accounting, corporate governance, and the intersection of environmental performance with financial decision-making. Many of his works examine carbon performance, gender diversity in corporate boards, risk management, and financial reporting practices across different institutional contexts, with increasing attention to African markets and developing economies.

He is known for his work on governance structures in higher education institutions and public financial management systems.
As a leading figure in accounting research, Collins Ntim serves on multiple editorial boards and has held significant editorial positions including Associate Editor for several top journals and Editor-in-Chief of the African Accounting and Finance Journal. His work has been featured in prominent media outlets including BBC, Financial Times, and Sky News, and has influenced policy discussions with UK Parliament committees.
