Dr. Colleen Curran is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow (2023-2025) at the University of Galway, affiliated with the Department of Classics within the College of Arts, Social Sciences, & Celtic Studies. Her research focuses on Breton Palaeography (BretPal), examining manuscripts from early medieval Brittany (c. 780‒1100) to understand the region's hybrid cultural identity and scribal traditions. Under the mentorship of Dr. Jacopo Bisagni, her work bridges the Latin tradition and digital humanities, repositioning Brittany within broader early medieval intellectual networks.
