Colleen Andrews

Colleen Andrews, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison within the Department of Emergency Medicine under the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Her academic and clinical work focuses on global health, health equity, and women’s health, with expertise in epidemiology and maternal/child health.

Her research explores health disparities in low-resource settings, particularly maternal nutrition in Nepal and diabetes care in rural Guatemala. She practices at University Hospital and East Madison Hospital, specializing in urgent care for life-threatening conditions. She advocates for culturally competent care and equity in global health systems.
