Colette Einfeld

Dr Colette Einfeld is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian National University's College of Asia and the Pacific, affiliated with the Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions. Her research focuses on knowledge integration, ethical dimensions of policy design, and the role of evidence in governance, particularly in the Global South and energy sectors. She holds a PhD in nudging and behavioral insights from ANU's Crawford School of Public Policy and has over ten years of applied research experience with governments, NGOs, and businesses.

Her work examines how diverse forms of knowledge (including Indigenous and Southern epistemologies) are incorporated into policy processes, and how ethical considerations shape interventions like nudge and co-design approaches. She has led large-scale qualitative and quantitative projects across media, health, finance, and sustainability domains.
