Cole Galloway

Cole Galloway serves as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy within the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences at Baylor University. His interdisciplinary work bridges rehabilitation, neuroscience, and human-machine interaction with a focus on social mobility solutions for underserved populations.

Research Interests: Galloway pioneers 'go tech'—a fusion of high-tech and low-tech approaches—to develop community mobility technologies that transform pediatric and adult rehabilitation. His work emphasizes how mobility devices impact child development (birth to 5 years), adult cognition, language acquisition, and socialization through enriched human-machine interfaces. He integrates social justice principles and open-source culture into rehabilitation engineering.
