Cody Klippenstein serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the English Department at Macalester College, teaching creative writing and literature courses within the Creative Writing program.
Her educational background includes:
- MFA from Cornell University, where she taught creative writing workshops and literature courses
Her research and creative practice centers on innovative fiction forms, with primary focus on short stories and novels exploring fabulism, fantasy, mythological traditions, and gothic horror aesthetics. She actively contributes to contemporary literary discourse through her creative output and is currently developing a novel.
Professor Klippenstein will teach Introduction to Creative Writing (ENGL 150-04) during the Fall 2025 semester.
