Cody Cox

Cody Cox is an Assistant Professor in the College of Rehabilitative Sciences, joining the Occupational Therapy program's core faculty in 2017. With clinical expertise in geriatrics and mental health, she has worked across rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient, and home health settings. Previously, she served as program director at South University and Kaplan College, and as program coordinator at Keiser University.

Dr. Cox holds:

• Doctor of Occupational Therapy (South University)
• Master of Education (Florida Atlantic University)
• Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy (University of Florida)

Her research examines teaching methodologies, aging populations, and healthcare education, with specific focus on geriatric care models and mental health interventions in rehabilitative contexts.

She maintains professional certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association.
