Clifton L Dalgard serves as a Researcher and Director of the Laboratory Core for TAGC within the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Genetics at the School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, MD. His leadership in core laboratory operations supports institutional research infrastructure.
His research program focuses on Population Genomics and Neuroscience, leveraging genomic methodologies to investigate population-level variations in neurological and complex diseases. This work integrates molecular genetics with clinical applications relevant to military health contexts.
As Laboratory Core Director, he oversees technical operations, instrumentation, and analytical services for the TAGC initiative, enabling high-throughput genomic research across USUHS departments. His team provides critical support for sequencing, bioinformatics, and experimental design in neurogenomics projects.
