Cliffa Foster

Cliffa Foster is a Professor and Dean at the Mayborn College of Health Sciences, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She has served as faculty in the School of Exercise & Sport Science since 1997 and is a Graduate Faculty member. Her leadership has introduced 4 undergraduate majors and 2 graduate programs, including the first fully online Master’s in Sport Administration.

Research Interests: Cliffa focuses on exercise physiology and sports performance, including cardiovascular training methods and psychological factors like stress and anxiety in athletic contexts. Her work aligns with promoting healthy lifestyle practices through physical activity and sports science.

Professional Memberships: She holds active memberships in TACSM, ACSM, and ISSN.

Personal Interests: Cliffa enjoys running, cross-training, swimming, hiking, gardening, and live music/theater.
