Cletus Amedu is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director for Introduction to Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiography at City, University of London, within the School of Health and Psychological Sciences. He transitioned to academia in 2016 after six years of clinical practice as a Senior Radiographer and Sonographer in Lagos, Nigeria. His expertise spans Diagnostic Imaging, with a focus on Projection Radiography, Computed Tomography, and Ultrasound Imaging, alongside interests in Patient Centred Care and Workforce Development.
- Registered with HCPC (UK), CORU (Ireland), and RRBN (Nigeria)
- Teaching experience across three universities: University of Lagos (Nigeria), University College Dublin (Ireland), and City, University of London (UK)
Research Interests: Cletus’s work centers on medical imaging technologies and patient-centered care strategies. His clinical background informs his academic focus on enhancing diagnostic accuracy and workforce training in radiography.
