Dr. Clementine Labrosciano is a Researcher at the University of Adelaide's Adelaide Medical School, affiliated with the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. As an Early Career Researcher, she focuses on cardiovascular health services and outcomes, particularly in reducing readmissions and improving quality of care for cardiac patients. Her roles include managing the CADOSA and PORTRAIT registries, which investigate patient outcomes and clinical practices related to coronary artery disease and peripheral artery disease.
Her research employs big data techniques and registry analyses to predict readmission risks and mortality. Key studies include evaluating sleep deprivation's impact on hospital outcomes and developing risk prediction models for myocardial infarction patients. She has collaborations with international registries like ICHOM and the American College of Cardiology.
- Research Highlights:
- Principal investigator for CADOSA registry (coronary angiography outcomes)
- Co-PI on PORTRAIT study (peripheral artery disease health status)
- Developed LACE index adaptations for myocardial infarction readmission prediction
Dr. Labrosciano holds a PhD (2020) with commendation for her work on cardiovascular readmission patterns. Her current projects aim to improve clinical decision-making through predictive modeling and patient-centered outcomes research. She is actively recruiting HDR students for studies involving CADOSA registry data.
Awards: Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence (2020).
