Clemens Räthel

Prof. Dr. Clemens Räthel holds the Chair of Modern Scandinavian Literatures at the University of Greifswald's Institute for Finnish and Scandinavian Studies. He serves as Spokesperson for the Interdisciplinary Research Centre Baltic Sea Region (IFZO) and sits on the Supervisory Board of the International DFG Research Training Group 'Baltic Peripeties'.

His research concentrates on Scandinavian literary traditions and Baltic cultural narratives. Office hours are available by appointment at Ernst-Lohmeyer-Platz 3, where he directs academic activities and supervises research projects.
