Clemens Driessen is an Assistant Professor in Cultural Geography at Wageningen University & Research. His research explores the intersections of human and non-human geographies, focusing on animal ethics, multispecies relations, and the biopolitics of wildlife management. He co-leads projects on rewilding, urban wildlife coexistence, and the ethical implications of food technologies like cultured meat. Driessen collaborates with artists and designers to create interventions addressing environmental and animal concerns. His work spans academic publications, public lectures, and media contributions, including appearances on podcasts and radio programs discussing topics like sensor technology in forestry and snail behavior.
Key research interests include the moral geographies of agriculture, the cultural dimensions of wild animal management, and speculative design approaches to environmental ethics.
