Clem Marshall

Clem Marshall is a Professor at The European Graduate School (EGS), specializing in race, language, education equity, and PanAfrikan studies. He holds a PhD from EGS (2011), an MA from the University of Toronto (2004), and a BA (Hons.) from the University of Toronto (1967) with additional studies at the Université de Paris. His work bridges academia and activism through roles like President of MangaCom Inc., which promotes equity in education and the arts.

Publications span art criticism, social justice, and historical analysis. Awards include Teacher of the Year (1996). He has taught at Ryerson University, the Ontario Science Center, and pioneered art education programs like Learning to Love Africa Through Her Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
