Dr. Clayton Smith is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor. He specializes in international student experience, student mentoring, and strategic enrollment management (SEM). His research focuses on improving educational practices for culturally and linguistically diverse students, addressing microaggressions, and enhancing sense of belonging. Dr. Smith holds a Doctor of Education from Florida State University (1997), and has extensive administrative experience in higher education.

Labs/Teams: Leads the Teaching International Students Research Group, organizes annual international education conferences, and oversees the Concurrent Education Student Mentoring Program.
