Claus Børsting

Claus Børsting is a Senior Researcher at the Section of Forensic Genetics, Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has been with the institution since 2001, holding various positions including Forensic Geneticist, Assistant Professor, and Senior Advisor before becoming a Senior Researcher in 2018.

His work has evolved from early contributions to the EU-sponsored SNP for ID consortium (2002-2006) to current research on microhaplotypes, epigenetic age estimation, and forensic investigative genetic genealogy.
