Claudia Werner

Cláudia Werner is a Full Professor at COPPE/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and Vice-President of its Deliberative Council since 2022. She also serves as an Associate Researcher at ISTAR-Iscte Research Center in Information Sciences, Technologies and Architecture. With a PhD in Systems and Computer Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ and a Bachelor's in Mathematics-Computer Science from UFRJ, her career spans software engineering research and academic leadership.

Her research explores:

• Software reuse methodologies in development pipelines and serious games
• Virtual/augmented reality applications for software engineering education
• Process-aware systems and workflow optimization
• Provenance data analytics for software process improvement

Publication analysis reveals consistent focus on empirical software engineering, with recent works emphasizing immersive learning (2022), systematic literature reviews (2019), and ontology-driven process analytics (2019). Her corpus demonstrates strong cross-pollination between educational technology, distributed systems, and reusable architectures.
