Claudia Stier

Claudia Stier holds a Master of Science in International Economics from the University of Potsdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Socioeconomics from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. She also earned a Diplôme in European Political Science from Sciences Po Strasbourg, France. From 2014 to 2019, she served as a student assistant and later research assistant at the Chair of Empirical Economics at the University of Potsdam, focusing on entrepreneurship and the economics of personality traits. Since October 2021, she has worked as a consultant at the Bavarian State Office for Statistics in Fürth.

Her research interests span entrepreneurial behavior, personality-driven economic decisions, and policy evaluation in labor markets. During her academic tenure, she contributed to projects like the evaluation of the 'Startchancen' program and studies on minimum wage impacts. She remains affiliated with the Potsdam research community through collaborative networks and past involvement in workshops such as the IZA Workshop on Entrepreneurship Research.
