Claudia Morsut

Claudia Morsut is an Associate Professor in societal security at the Department of Safety, Economics and Planning, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Stavanger. Her research focuses on EU governance in disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, civil protection, and societal security. She leads the national RISKSEC2.0 project and is local leader of the EU-funded EuRopean ObservAtory on Disaster risk and crisis MAnagement good Practices (ROADMAP). She has been involved in multiple Horizon 2020 and EU-UCPM projects, including BuildERS, and is a member of the Nordic Network on Transboundary Pandemic Crisis Governance and Norway’s national reference group for Horizon Europe’s Cluster 3 on Civil Security.
