Claudia Marusic is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair for Theory and Empirical Research on Educational Processes in Schools (Institute of Educational Science, University of Zurich). She has worked in academic roles at UZH since 2017, including as a Research Assistant and Project Assistant, and previously at PHZH (2022-2024). Her working hours are Monday to Wednesday.
- Education: PhD (2017-2022), CAS in Higher Education (2019-2020), Master of Arts (2013-2016), Bachelor of Arts (2009-2013), all at University of Zurich.
Research interests focus on school improvement, teaching quality, classroom disturbances, and teacher professional development. Her work aligns with the chair’s emphasis on theoretical and empirical analysis of educational processes, particularly self-regulated learning and reducing educational disadvantages.
Collaborations and memberships: Active in academic networks including the Swiss Society for Educational Research (SGBF), International Society for School-Practice Studies (IGSP), and European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI).
