Claudia Gabbioneta

Claudia Gabbioneta is a Professor and Chair in Accounting and Management at the University of York's School for Business and Society. Previously, she held positions at the University of Newcastle, IULM University, and the University of Genoa. Her research focuses on professions, professional misconduct, organizational wrongdoing, and corporate scandals. She serves as Senior Editor of Organisation Studies and holds editorial roles in several journals.

Her research explores professional identity, reputation, and misconduct within professions, alongside corporate scandals' societal impacts. Key projects include auditing industry discrimination analysis, reputation trajectories of professionals, and theorizing professional misconduct.

• Active in international conferences and editorial leadership, with visiting scholarships at LUISS University (Rome, 2020).
