Claudia Foti

Claudia Foti is a Lecturer at the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT), Faculty of Interpreting and Translation, where she has taught since 2009. She holds a law degree from Sapienza University of Rome and advanced degrees in interpretation and translation from the University of Trieste. Her professional roles include serving as a part-time language officer at the Italian Ministry of Justice since 1994, specializing in legal, medical, and international conference interpreting. She also works as a freelance legal translator for European institutions and private entities. Additionally, she contributed to the European Commission’s MT@EC machine translation project (2017–2019) and serves on the MIUR Technical Advisory Commission for language mediator schools.
