Claudia Borca

Claudia Borca is an Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Sociology and Psychology of the West University of Timisoara since 2007. She holds a doctorate in Science from Babeș-Bolyai University focused on metacognitive development, supervised by Emeritus Professor Vasile Liviu Preda.

• Graduate of postgraduate programs: Educational Management and Student (2004), Integration of children with special educational requirements (2007), and Entrepreneurial skills in socio-humanistic fields (2020)
• Psychologist with free practice rights and supervisor in Special Psychopedagogy since 2010

Research Focus: Inclusive education, neurodevelopmental disorders, metacognitive strategies, and innovative learning environments. Her work emphasizes accessibility for visually impaired students, autism spectrum disorders, and quality assurance in higher education.

Recent Publications (2024-2015) explore hybrid learning models, attitudinal barriers in inclusion, photovoice methodologies for disabled students, and European identity development in primary education. These works span Education, Special Education, and Developmental Psychology.
