Claude Weisbuch

Claude Weisbuch is a Distinguished Professor of Materials at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), affiliated with the College of Engineering. His research focuses on semiconductor optics, nitride materials, and light-emitting diodes (LEDs), with particular attention to quantum well physics, alloy disorder effects, and device efficiency optimization. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Université Paris VII and conducted graduate studies at the École Normale Supérieure.
