Clark DeCapite

Clark DeCapite serves as Assistant Professor, Chair of the Creative Arts Unit, and Program Director for Art & Design at Ursuline College in Ohio. His academic leadership spans both administrative and creative domains within the institution's arts programming.

Dr. DeCapite received his BFA in crafts with a concentration in glass from Kent State University in 2008, followed by an MFA in sculpture with a concentration in glass from the University of Miami. His educational background reflects a strong foundation in traditional craft techniques that has evolved into contemporary artistic exploration.

His research and creative work transcends conventional boundaries, actively engaging with emerging technologies, time-based media, and site-specific installations. DeCapite's practice deliberately crosses material lines and technical borders, re-contextualizing traditional materials within contemporary frameworks.
