Dr. Clare Moonan is a Senior Lecturer in International Business and Course Leader for MSc Managing Global Business at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. She has been with the institution since 2006, contributing significantly to international business curriculum development and teaching. Her research focuses on cultural aspects of knowledge transfer, particularly Japanese human resource management practices in Indian automotive firms. She maintains strong industry links through collaborations with Jaguar, John Lewis, Bentley, and institutions like Symbiosis University in India.

She actively develops international partnerships, including 10 cross-faculty recruitment drives in India/Sri Lanka since 2009 and alumni networks in Pune/Mumbai. She organizes student consultancy projects and field trips to automotive plants in the UK and India.
Professional Activities She participates in British Council initiatives like British Management Week and presents at conferences such as the European International Business Academy (EIBA). Recent work explores multinational enterprise strategies in emerging markets.
