Professor Clare Furneaux holds a Professorship in Applied Linguistics at the University of Reading's Institute of Education. She serves as Teaching and Learning Dean across multiple schools and previously led the MA English Language Teaching by Distance Study programme. Her research focuses on second language writing in EAP contexts, online learning, and curriculum design.
