Clare Dixon

Dr Clare Dixon is an Honorary Lecturer in the Health Research Department at Lancaster University's Faculty of Health and Medicine. Her research focuses on trauma-related mental health in children and adolescents, interprofessional ethics education, and clinical psychology. She has contributed to studies on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), acute stress disorder, and the psychological impacts of chronic illness on families. Her work emphasizes early intervention strategies and cognitive behavioral therapies.

Key projects include the Interprofessional Ethics Education initiative (2014–2020), which developed training programs for healthcare students. Her publications span topics like qualitative analyses of Parkinson's caregiving dynamics, predictive modeling of trauma outcomes, and ethical frameworks for interprofessional collaboration.
