Clara Mascaró is a Tutor in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh, where she also pursues her PhD part-time. Her research focuses on labour market inclusion and social security for working-age disabled people in the United Kingdom and Germany, employing longitudinal analyses of the UK Household Longitudinal Survey and the German Socio-Economic Panel.

Clara has co-authored a 2022 article on activation policies in the Journal of European Social Policy and presented at international conferences such as SASE, REPS, and Espanet. She is also affiliated with the Work, Economy and Welfare Research Group and the Money, Security and Social Policy network.
