Clara Celauro is a Full Professor at the University of Palermo, Italy, within the Department of Civil, Environmental, Aerospace and Materials Engineering (DICAM). Her academic career spans roles as Associate Professor (2015–2019), Tenured Researcher (2010–2019), and untenured researcher (2006–2010) in the scientific disciplinary sector ICAR/04 (Roads, Railways, Airports). She has held administrative roles as Delegate for Services for Students with Disabilities at the Polytechnic School of the University of Palermo since 2014 and previously at the Faculty of Engineering (2010–2013). Her work focuses on road pavement engineering, sustainable materials, and infrastructure evaluation.

She has contributed to projects evaluating temperature susceptibility, compaction techniques, and road-vehicle interaction.
Clara Celauro has received recognition for her work, including competitive research grants and leadership roles in international technical committees. She has co-supervised numerous final-year theses and participated in European research collaborations such as COST Action 354 and RILEM TC ATB.
