Claire Wolstenholme

Claire Wolstenholme is a Research Fellow at the Sheffield Institute of Education, part of Sheffield Hallam University within the College of Social Sciences and Arts. Her work spans education policy, mental health, and inclusion, with a focus on male students’ well-being and educational equity.

Her research over the past six years has prioritized Male Student Mental Health, including explorations of barriers to support, peer-led interventions, and ethnic minority male students’ experiences. She established the SIOE Research Clinics, providing research support to education students, and contributes to policy evaluation projects for clients such as the Department for Education, Education Endowment Foundation, and British Council.
