Claire Osborn-Wright is an Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Environmental Sustainability Certificate Program at the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, St. Thomas University. She holds a B.A. from Smith College (summa cum laude), a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude), and a General Degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Her research focuses on property, environmental, international trade, and domestic violence law, with publications in journals such as the Akron Law Journal and Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. She contributed to the ALI’s WTO Project and served as a visiting scholar at the WTO in Geneva and the Chinese Rule of Law Institute in Hangzhou.
Teaching highlights include international law courses at the University of Nice Law School and Zhejiang University, as well as clinical programs like the Domestic Violence Project and Trade Monitor Institute at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She previously clerked for Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Her advisory work includes establishing pro bono legal initiatives and assisting developing countries in WTO negotiations. She also held leadership roles at Baker & McKenzie and Ernst & Young LLP, specializing in property and international trade law.
