Claire Mouminoux

Claire Mouminoux is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Strasbourg within the BETA Laboratory (Faculty of Economics and Management). Her research focuses on behavioral biases in uncertain environments, employing experimental economics, game theory, and econometric modeling to analyze decision-making in insurance markets. She holds a PhD from Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University and has held visiting positions at the University of California, Santa Barbara and research fellowships at SAF and Institut Louis Bachelier. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in behavioral insurance and market dynamics.

Teaching: She has taught courses in Mathematical Statistics, SAS Programming at UCSB, and Insurance Economics at Lyon 1 University. Her pedagogical focus includes risk theory, adverse selection, and behavioral insurance principles.
