Claire Marie Bergaentzlé is an Associate Professor in the Department of Technology, Management and Economics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Her research focuses on energy systems engineering, climate policy, and district heating solutions, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to affordable and clean energy. She leads and participates in major projects like InnoCYPES (Cyber Physical Energy Systems) and RES4CITY (Renewable Energies for Cities).
Her work integrates techno-economic modeling with spatial analysis to address energy transition challenges, particularly in rural regions and urban environments. Key projects include analyzing hydrogen subsidies, digitalization of power grids, and regulatory frameworks for energy systems.
