Claire Huschle is an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University's Arts Management program and founder/director of Scaffold, LLC, a project support firm for artists and arts organizations. She has held leadership roles including Director of George Mason University’s Arts Management program (2012-2017) and Executive Director of the Arlington Arts Center (2005-2011).
- Education: MA in Art History from University of Texas at Austin; BA in Art History (with high honors) from University of Michigan.
Her work focuses on arts funding, grant writing, residency programs, and curation. She co-produced a study on millennial audience engagement and curated exhibitions reviewed in the Washington Post and ArtPapers. Her collaboration with Margaret Boozer and soil scientist Dr. Richard Shaw explored intersections of art and environmental science.
- Scientific Awards: Fellowship at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
