She earned her B.S. from Yale University (2009) and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2016). Her research focuses on petrologic problems related to continental crust formation, subduction zone mass transfer, and igneous rock evolution.
- B.S., Yale University, 2009
- Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2016
Her work integrates detailed field studies with geochemistry, geochronology, and modeling. She has taught courses such as:
- Ge 101: Introduction to Geology and Geochemistry
- Ge 11a: Earth and Planetary Sciences
- Ge 120a: Introduction to Field Geology
- Ge 123: Continental Crust Seminar
- Ge 119: Geology of the American Southwest
Her teaching emphasizes quantitative understanding, plate tectonics, and geological processes across scales.
