Claire C. Arnold

Claire C. Arnold is a Research Fellow in British History at Northwestern University's Department of History. She holds a PhD from Northwestern University and a BA from the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on the British Empire, family history, and archival theory, particularly examining how middle-class families shaped imperial networks in the 19th century. She is affiliated with the Buffett Institute for Global Affairs and has received multiple fellowships.
