Ciera Jones

Ciera Jones is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Digital Art and Design within the College of Arts & Sciences at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). She specializes in UI/UX design for emerging technologies, particularly VR/AR systems. Professionally, she works as a Simulation Engineer at Madison Square Garden’s MSG Sphere, with prior roles at Viacom, PBS SpaceTime VR, and Local Wisdom focused on VR/AR development and research.

• Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Visual Arts from Rutgers University

Her research interests span immersive technologies, interactive media, and the intersection of digital art, design, and human-computer interaction. She teaches courses like Human-Computer Interaction Design at NYIT.
