Churen Li

Churen Li serves as Artist Faculty at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore, where she is celebrated for her exceptional piano artistry and musical depth as noted by international publications including South China Morning Post and The Straits Times.

Her academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (National University of Singapore), a Master's degree from Yale School of Music, and a Master of Philosophy in Music from Cambridge University with a dissertation on George Crumb's Five Pieces for Piano.

Her research explores Piano Performance, Contemporary Classical Music, and New Music through innovative genre fusion and examinations of music's relationship with societal evolution. She pioneered boundary-pushing performances such as her 2018 sold-out concert at Singapore's Zouk nightclub and participated in the Darmstadt International Summer Course for New Music and Roche Continents programme in Salzburg.

Her extensive accolades include:
