معرفی
Professor Chun-Xia Zhao is a Professor and NHMRC Leadership Fellow in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide. She leads research in bioinspired engineering, biomimetic nanomaterials, and microfluidics for drug delivery. Previously, she held an ARC Future Fellowship at the University of Queensland (UQ) and completed her PhD at Zhejiang University. Her work spans nanomedicine, precision medicine, and organ-on-a-chip models, supported by over $55M in funding from ARC, NHMRC, and industry.
Research focuses include drug delivery systems, controlled release mechanisms, and translational nanotechnology. She has secured prestigious fellowships and grants, including a Deputy Director role in an ARC Centre of Excellence ($35M, 2020–2027). Her team collaborates globally with institutions like Harvard University and holds 8 patents, one licensed commercially.
Recognition includes the UQ Foundation Research Excellence Award (2016) and ARC College of Experts membership (2019–2021). She edits multiple journals and mentors students in T cell immunotherapy, mRNA therapeutics, and lipid nanomedicine. Her lab hosts PhD opportunities in emerging biomedical technologies.
