Chun-Hui Miao

Chun-Hui Miao is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in industrial organization and microeconomic theory.

Research focuses on theoretical aspects of industrial organization, including consumer behavior in durable-goods markets, technology licensing, and compatibility/standardization issues in innovation. His work explores how firm strategies interact with consumer biases and market structures.

Awards include the 2013-2014 Outstanding Professor Award and nomination for Professor of the Year in 2012. He has advised multiple PhD and Master's students on topics ranging from game theory to applied microeconomics.
