معرفی
Chuanpeng Dong is a Research Fellow in the Department of Genetics at Yale University, part of the Yale School of Medicine. He holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Indiana University, an MS in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics from Fudan University, and a BS from Jilin University. Prior to his postdoctoral position, he gained industry experience as a research assistant at Hengrui Medicine (2012-2014). His research focuses on integrative genomics, CRISPR-based technologies, and bioinformatics tools to study cancer biology, neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer's), and immune responses. Key projects include developing spatial CRISPR screening methods (e.g., perturb-DBiT), analyzing microglial roles in aging, and creating databases like TCPGdb for T-cell perturbation studies.
Research interests span genetic regulation of miRNA biogenesis, alternative splicing in cancers, and biomarker discovery using tools like CGPE and DEGAS. His work bridges computational biology with experimental validation to uncover mechanisms underlying disease pathogenesis and therapeutic responses.
Publications highlight contributions to understanding CRISPR-therapeutic interactions, immunotherapy optimization, and neurodegenerative processes linked to PLCG2 variants and ELP3 dysfunction. His interdisciplinary approach merges genomics, proteomics, and computational modeling to address complex biomedical challenges.
