Chrysothemis Brown

Chrysothemis Brown, MD, PhD is an Assistant Attending Physician and Assistant Professor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), affiliated with the Immuno-Oncology Program and Department of Pediatrics. She holds a MA from the University of Oxford, an MD from Royal Free and University College London, and a PhD from King’s College London.

• Research Focus: Dendritic cell biology, immune tolerance mechanisms, microbiome-immune interactions, early life immune development, and tumor immunity.
• Awards: Recipient of prestigious honors including the Freeman Hrabowski Scholar Award (2025), Pew Trust Biomedical Scholar (2025), and NIH/NIAID DP2 New Innovator Award (2022).
• Publications: Her work explores dendritic cell heterogeneity, Thetis cell functions in food tolerance, and antigen-presenting cell roles in microbiota-driven immunity.
