Christy E Briles is an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Denver in the Department of Geography & Environmental Sciences. Her research focuses on long-term ecosystem dynamics, fire ecology, and climate change impacts across diverse regions including the western U.S., Vietnam, and California.

• Fire history analysis using charcoal and pollen proxies
• Anthropogenic impacts on natural ecosystems

Her lab (PPCC Lab) investigates:

• Shallow marine paleoecology in Ha Long Bay
